Mark is the Production Manager of the Windowmakers team, overseeing a factory staff of 14. Part of his role is to liaise with our sales team to make sure we get all the information needed to deliver top quality joinery, in specification, on time to our customers.
With 24 years experience in the industry, Mark started on the factory floor making joinery straight from school, and after a number of years moved into a Production Management role.
Mark is passionate about delivering top quality joinery to our customers, and at Windowmakers we use one of the most superior brands of product. This, along with our state of the art machinery enables us to give our customers the assurance they are dealing with a professional operation who have their best interests at heart.
“After hours, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two sons, either relaxing or getting away. Fishing is another passion. I am actively involved with our local soccer club as a coach over the winter and playing summer soccer in the warmer months.”
“Be part of the solution and not the problem”
An important member of the Windowmakers team, Iain is our Factory Manager. He provides the link between sales/management and the team on the factory floor. Iain is responsible for ordering hardware and glass, and organizing any site glazing requirements. He works in conjunction with the Production Manager and Factory Team Leader to ensure production requirements are met from start to finish.
Iain has been in the aluminium joinery industry for over 20 years, covering all aspects of the jobs involved, cumulating in factory management.
Therefore, having worked in both production and management, he has a great perspective “from both sides of the fence”. This gives Iain an appreciation of what a great team can achieve working together towards a common goal.
“Time spent with my wife and four children is special – it includes swimming, touch rugby, singing, theatre productions and so on. Personal “chill” time is a good book, movie or listening to music.”
“There is no “I” in TEAM!”.
