Maintenance Technician

Work type: Permanent Full-Time 

Join our team during an exciting phase for our company, marked by the current development of our new state-of-the-art facility in the broader Silverdale area that we will soon be transitioning to. With a significantly larger space, brand new equipment, and innovative processes, this opportunity offers you the chance to be part of something new and exciting. 

In this role, you will be working as a key member of our After Sales team. Your responsibilities will include conducting scheduled onsite maintenance and repair tasks for our aluminum windows and doors.

A key element of this role includes traveling to sites across Auckland, including those where construction is taking place and where our clients reside. You will be expected to deliver a professional and excellent standard of customer service while maintaining a positive and cooperative attitude toward our clients, customers, consultants, management, subcontractors, and any other members of the public you may encounter.

To be successful in this role, you must have 3-5 years of experience working in a similar role, which may involve aluminium joinery fabrication and/or building maintenance. Additionally, you must be a New Zealand Citizen/Resident or hold a current visa to work in New Zealand. 

Duties & Responsibilities 

  • Travel to job sites 
  • Evaluate repair issues onsite 
  • Perform maintenance and repair work onsite 
  • Ensure that assigned tasks are completed to the standards and specifications required 
  • Implement and maintain proper document control procedures 
  • Be punctual and work the hours and times specified 

Skills & Experience Required 

  • 2-5 years of experience in aluminium joinery fabrication and/or building maintenance
  • Be a self-starter and able to work independently— whilst taking direction from and cooperating with our After Sales team 
  • Capable of heavy lifting 
  • Excellent customer service 
  • Reliable and punctual 
  • Initiation and a proactive attitude 
  • A current, full NZ drivers license
